Heritage Land & Minerals was founded to do one thing well: acquire producing mineral and royalty interests, manage them with discipline, and share the cash flow they generate. We are a private firm, not a fund chasing assets we don’t understand.
Our work is rooted in place. We buy across eleven American states, from the Permian Basin to Appalachia, and we underwrite every position on the ground it sits on: production history, operator quality, basin economics. The interests we offer to investor partners are interests we were willing to own ourselves.
That ownership posture shapes everything else, from how we vet acquisitions to how we structure partnerships and how we stay accountable to the people whose income depends on them.

The same standards govern every acquisition, whether Heritage holds it or offers it to investor partners. These are the four that matter most.
Underwriting discipline
Every acquisition is vetted on production history, operator quality, and basin economics before it enters a partnership. If a position does not underwrite, we do not buy it.
Aligned interests
We hold what we sell. Heritage takes positions in the same interests we offer to investor partners, so our incentives sit on the same side of the table as yours.
Long-horizon stewardship
Mineral and royalty interests are multi-decade assets. We manage them for durable income across cycles, not for a quick turn.
Rooted and relationship-driven
We acquire directly from owners, family estates, and sellers, and we stay reachable. The people who underwrite a position are the ones who answer after it closes.
